The Lizards defeated the following teams to win the Cup. The first win came against the Virginia Rush 2-0, next on Sunday they defeated the Baltimore Bays 2-0, and then won an exciting Final vs. the Michigan Hawks 1-0. The final was decided by penalty kicks. The Lizards shot first missing the first PK, then Michigan made their shot. Then Tori Adhe shot for Wall and made it, while Lindsey Mahken stopped the Michigan 2nd shot. The 3rd shooter for Wall was Chandler Lages and she made her shot with authority then Michigan made their shot. The fourth shooter for Wall was Alexa Alchesky and she made her shot and again Michigan made their shot. So we were tied 3-3 after 4 shooters each team had missed one shot. The final shooter for Wall was Culli Pringle and she stepped up and made her shot and made it look easy. Then the shooter from Michigan stepped up and hit a good shot into the corner but the Wall goalie made a great finger save to keep the ball from finding the net. Thus setting off a celebration for the Wall Lizards who become the 1st Wall SC team to bring home a Jefferson Cup Championship to Wall.

The Elite Lizards have now put themselves in some special company with teams like the Strikers and Wombats who have both done some tremendous things on the pitch. This group is now NJYS State Finalist & Jefferson Cup Champion and this is only the beginning.
