About Our Team
WALL THUNDER “BOOMING” WITH SUCCESS!  The Wall Thunder girls always had the rumblings and spark of a great team in the making. Led by coach Mark Kremen, the team began their first season together in the fall of 2005. The girls were faced with many challenges which come with a newly formed team, such as getting to know one another, who plays what position, schedule conflicts, fundraising, and of course, the tough competition. Through hard work and practice, along with trainer, Mike Turtle, the girls improved with each game. They finished the fall 2005 season with a 6-2-2 record. In the spring 2006 season, Wall Thunder continued to play hard and work together as a dedicated team. They competed in five tournaments during their first year, winning the championships of the Ocean Tournament and the Marlboro Tournament. The team ended the spring 2006 season with a record of 5-5-0 and a 3rd place finish in their division which included nine teams. In fall 2006, the girls were reunited and excited to kick off the new season. They continued to improve their ball skills, and worked on passing and staying in position. They competed in the Wall Fall Classic and were the Howell Holiday Cup 2006 Champions. Wall Thunder finished a very rewarding season as MOSA National 5 Division Champions with a 9-0-1 record, and would advance to a higher division in the spring. The girls continued their training throughout the winter months by participating and winning the GoodSports 5 v 5 League with a record of 5-1-1. As the spring 2007 season got off to a soggy start for all of the teams, Wall Thunder proved with each game their rightful place in their higher flight. Together again, with head coach Mark Kremen, assistant coaches Cheri Caprio and Jean Avon, and trainer Matt Woolston, the team faced another exciting season. In April, they competed in the Monroe Soccer Festival and won first place. Through their hard work and dedication, the girls were rewarded once again with another undefeated season, claiming the MOSA National 4 Division Championship with a record of 10-0. They were rewarded by advancing to the National 2 flight, which they once again finshed undefeated; then the Spring 2008 season as MOSA National 1 Undefeated Champions.  They recently won the Jackson 2008 Summer Classic in a shutout, outscoring the opponent 19-0!  Wall Thunder will begin Fall 2008 season as a premier team and the girls look forward to another exciting season together!  Bring on the Thunder!
