IMPACT WIN MAPS/MSSL Spring Challenge
IMPACT WIN FIRST TOURNAMENT VICTORY
The Wall IMPACT won their division of this year’s MAPS/MSSL Spring Challenge defeating Morris United in the finals 2-0. The weekend tournament was a good warm-up for the IMPACT for the coming spring season in MAPS and demonstrated that the team was ready to play. With a rocky start in their first game on Saturday, the IMPACT pulled off a 1-0 victory over their opponent. Having tied the second game, the IMPACT needed to win their third game by a decisive margin of goals in order to advance to the finals. That’s exactly what they did with an impressive 4-0 victory. Heading into the finals just 35 minutes after finishing their third game, the IMPACT command the game with impressive passing and movement to score a mid first half goal. The second goal, midway through the second half, help to seal the championship and give the IMPACT their first tournament victory.

Wall IMPACT SPRING 2008
The Wall IMPACT will play their first season of MAPS starting on March 29th. The IMPACT’s schedule is quite full this season with 5 regular MAPS games and 4 high-quality tournaments. The team has been training throughout the winter months to prepare for some great competition at the MAPS level. Each player has worked hard to sharpen their skills and keep their overall fitness at its peak.
IMPACT WELCOME COACH LIZ LUCCARELLI
The Wall IMPACT is proud to announce the addition of their new coach/trainer, Liz Luccarelli. Coach Liz is a high school teacher at Howell High School and is an Olympic Development Program coach/trainer for New Jersey. Coach Liz brings with her years of experience, as a high school player at Neptune High School as well as a starting player for Monmouth University. Coach Liz is confident that the team will continue to develop and become even more competitive.
