Coach Dan has been involved in youth soccer now for over twenty years, as a player, then as a coach, and most recently as the Director and leader of one of the most highly regarded clubs in New Jersey (Wall SC). He most recently was appointed to the MOSA Board of Directors with a task of overseeing the Select program that the league facilitates. Over those years he has coached many ODP & Regional players on the boys side of the game and most recently his focus has turned to the girls side of the game.

In 1999, Coach Dan created what is now the very successful Wall Soccer Munchkin Program. In that first season Wall had just 95 particpants. This program now see 500-600 players a year in the instructional 4-5 year old group. It is where our youngest players learn to love the game and our future volunteers get to know what Wall Soccer is all about.

In the past nine years, Dan has guided the Wall Soccer Club to a strong place in New Jersey soccer. The Club is very highly regarded and has implemented many positive changes to enhance the programs for its members. It is something that he works at everyday, anyone who knows Dan knows he eats and sleeps youth soccer. His passion for the game and his club are always evident. Manson is always looking at what other successful clubs are doing and trying to see how he can implement those things into the program in Wall. He has had interaction with clubs like Ohio Premier, Stars of Mass., Chicago Eclipse just to name a few. " When you can meet the individuals at Elite Club seminars from other states and see what they do and then make it fit into your environment its a great thing." says Manson.

He has had great success with his Wombats, U14G,  they have been USCS National Finalist & Two-time Regional Champions as well as being considered one of the top 20 teams in the US. They have placed 4 players into USYS Regional teams, 8 players on ODP State teams in the past year. Manson is also directly involved in the U12G Lizards, a team which has had a tremendous amount of success in only their 2nd season on a full pitch. They were most recently NJ State Cup Semi-finalist this past fall.

He is also looking to enhance the Boys of the program for 2008 and beyond, as well as getting more involved with additional teams within the club.
