Wall ELITE send two to Semi-finals
Power U17 & Strikers U18 Win Quarter-final matches

Wall Soccer had two of its ELITE girls teams play through the quarter-finals and earn a berth in the National Championship NJ State Cup today. Both will know move onto the Semi-Finals in two weeks.

Monmouth University Soccer Hosting "Livestrong" Event
National LIVESTRONG day 2008 is May 13. To help support the Lance Armstrong Foundation and spread awareness for cancer survivors and their daily battles, Monmouth athletics is hosting sports clinics from 6pm-7pm at Monmouth University. Clinics will be held for girls soccer, boys soccer, field hockey and girls lacrosse. Registration is $20 and all of the money is going to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Wall Soccer has become a great place at the Jersey Shore to develop young soccer players. The Elite side and the travel side are hosting tryouts for the Fall 2008 season. WALL Girls with a solid showing at Jefferson Cup
Wombats U14G win four to get to Championship finals

Wall Soccer club had four girls teams qualify to play in the Jefferson Cup this past weekend. The teams were the U11G Lady Magic, U12 Lizards, U14 Wombats, and the U17 Power. All teams should be proud to be accepted into this event which is considered one of the best in the country. The Wall Wombats had an amazing showing at the event, they were placed in the highest level bracket Manchester Flight and won their bracket.

Beating Cup/Warren County Ohio ( NSR # 9 ranked team in the US) 1-0. Then in their second game they defeated the Maryland State Champion Bethseda Freedom 3-0. Finishing bracket play against the Virginia Rush winning 3-0. By winning the bracket they qualified to move into the Semi-final of the event. The Wombats faced the (NSR # 8 ranked team in the country) Baltimore Bays and played an amazing match beating this quality team from Baltimore 2-1. The Wombats now were in the finals and on their third game of the day. They met their familiar foe Mount Laurel Power and lost a tough fought 2-1 defeat.  

All in all it was an overall great showing for the girls side of the program and proves that we are on the right track with our program.

Wall Terminators “terminate” the season!
U-13 Boys MOSA Champions

With a Spring 2007 National I Soccer Championship under their belt, the U-13 Boys Wall Terminators entered the Fall 2007 season in the MOSA Premier Division.  A talented soccer team, known for their hustle and effort, the Terminators incorporated a few new players to the roster during the summer.  All the ingredients came together in the Fall allowing the team to continue their winning ways.   On November 18th, the Terminators completed the season as the MOSA Premier 1st place Champions with a

6-3-1 record.  A few months later in January, they earned 1st place at the “Soccer Palace Winter Tournament” in West Orange, NJ .

Wall Impact Win 4 games
MSSL Spring Challenge Champions
The Wall IMPACT won their division of this year’s MAPS/MSSL Spring Challenge defeating Morris United in the finals 2-0.  The weekend tournament was a good warm-up for the IMPACT for the coming spring season in MAPS and demonstrated that the team was ready to play. 
Wall Atoms Preparing for another season
Atoms make the move to MAPS

The Wall Atoms who have continued to climb the ladder of success each season are looking forward to tougher competition this season in MAPS league. This past spring they completed a great season in MOSA Premier where they defeated our other U15 boys team the Wall Magic. Its great to see a team continue each season and work to improve itself season after season and year after year.  This is success is a credit to the team, parents and their coaching staff.

Great job Atoms keep it up we are looking for great things in your high school years.

Wall Soccer Girls Ranked # 3 in NJ
NSR ranks Wall # 89 Girls program in US

WALL SOCCER GIRLS PROGRAM # 3 Club in NJ # 89 in USA

In December, National Soccer Rankings finalized there 2007 Club rankings for the US. In these rankings on the girls side Wall Soccer Club was ranked # 89 in the nation. Within these rankings there was only two NJ Clubs above Wall Soccer Club on the girls side. These two were PDA and MLU respectively. The Wall Soccer girls program has two teams that are ranked TOP 2 in NJ and also Nationally ranked, Wall Strikers U17girls and the Wall Wombats U13girls. These two teams coupled with other teams being in the Top 10 in NJ has put Wall Soccer on the MAP in girls soccer regionally.

Wall Girls Accepted to Jefferson Cup
Sending 4 teams

 

Wall Soccer will be sending the following teams to JEFFERSON CUP this March. The teams accepted to play are U16 POWER, U14 WOMBATS, U12 LIZARDS, U11 LADY MAGIC. Each has been accepted into what is considered by anyone in youth soccer a TOP 5 event in the country for girls soccer.
